ROOTS

Mental health x student support services zine. Live brief. Group project - NTU - BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Promotion - Year 3 – May 2021.

What?
Developed a peer-to-peer zine for NTU Student Support Services, focused on Mental Health & Wellbeing. The zine aimed to reduce stigma around mental health, promote self-care strategies, and provide students with practical techniques for building resilience, fostering healthier habits, and improving overall well-being.

How?
ROOTS is a student-centred resource designed to support mental well-being and cultivate a positive outlook. Built around the acronym ROOTS—Relationships, Ownership, Opportunity, Top Form, and Safety—the publication encourages students to form strong habits and relationships. The biophilic design, inspired by nature, creates a calming environment, helping to ease the stress of transitioning into university life, especially during the crucial first week.
