size? Integrated Marketing Campaign

size? x Bene Culture

size? fashion film project. Individual project - NTU - BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Promotion - Year 2 – May 2020

What?
Develop an integrated marketing campaign and fashion film concept for size? aimed at engaging its consumer base. The film draws creative inspiration from David Lynch's Wild at Heart, blending retro aesthetics with modern streetwear to communicate the brand’s message.

How?
The size? x Bene Culture campaign centres on individuality and identity, aligning with both size? and Birmingham-based independent brand Bene Culture. The collaboration features a limited-edition collection that merges retro influences with contemporary street fashion, driving brand visibility and sales growth for both retailers.

Film Plan:

  • Opening Scene: A landscape view of Birmingham at sunset in early autumn, zooming in with a glitch effect to reveal the bustling city.

  • Footwear Focus: The camera tracks the model's Air Max 95s, following his footsteps through the chaotic streets, capturing a sense of urban energy.

  • Outfit Reveal: The camera slowly moves up to reveal the model’s outfit from the new collection, with a laid-back, confident expression.

  • Pop-Up Collection Highlights: The film features quick, zoomed-in shots of the new collection, each separated by glitch effects to build intrigue without revealing too much.

  • City & Street Culture: Scenes alternate between the busy city centre and split-screen shots of the model posing casually, exuding effortless cool.

  • Skating Scene: The focus shifts to the model skating, highlighting his trainers. The film ends with the words "Coming Soon" as a teaser.

Job Roles:

  • Conducted primary and secondary research.

  • Served as digital content creator, managing visual and narrative elements.

  • Developed the overall campaign concept and creative strategy.

  • Led communications and promotional planning to ensure the campaign’s integration across platforms.
